About the Transition to Cloud Licensing
AcuityMaster has moved from a perpetual licensing model to a browser-based annual subscription (SaaS). The Windows perpetual edition is no longer available for purchase.
This change enables:
- macOS and Windows compatibility (browser-based — no install)
- Centralized license management for multi-seat practices
- Automatic software updates — no manual installs
- Elimination of hardware-locked licenses
- Sustained ongoing development and long-term clinical reliability
Pricing is structured so that five years of subscription cost is roughly equivalent to the historical perpetual license price — ensuring fairness for long-standing customers.
Introductory Pricing — Per Seat / Year
All plans billed annually. Volume pricing applied automatically, from the second seat. A seat is one signed-in browser session. Count the browser profiles that will be signed in at the same time, not the number of PCs.
Introductory pricing. The rates below are launch pricing for AcuityMaster Cloud. Subscribe at these rates and they are locked for the life of your subscription — as long as it stays active, a future price increase will not apply to you. We have not set an end date for the introductory period, but these rates will not last indefinitely.
Rates are graduated, like tax brackets — each rate applies only to the seats inside its band, not to your whole order. Adding a seat always costs a little more, never less.
