Security and alternatives pages

  • Security & patient data: the no-PHI statement at a stable URL — AcuityMaster stores no patient data at all.
  • Alternatives: every competing system we know of, including the cases where AcuityMaster is not the right fit.

The site in six languages

acuitymaster.com became available in Spanish, French, Portuguese, Polish and Hebrew alongside English — 39 pages per language, each at its own URL (for example /es/requirements), with the language switcher in the header of every page.

AcuityMaster Cloud released

The browser-based edition went live: the full clinical chart set running in Safari, Chrome, Firefox or Edge on macOS, Windows and iPadOS, with no installation and no proprietary hardware. Sign-up and the 7-day free trial are at cloud.acuitymaster.com. Pricing is published in full.

The same day, the Windows desktop edition was discontinued for new purchase. Existing licenses keep working — no license server, no remote switch, no update that breaks them — and existing customers will be contacted directly about migration options.

2012

Where it started

AcuityMaster entered clinical use in 2012, built by Mark S. Brown, MD, a practicing oculoplastic surgeon, to solve real exam-lane problems: blown projector bulbs, limited chart types, and hardware lock-in.
